Call For Nominations

The current terms for three seats on the Kentucky Board of Dentistry will expire on June 30, 2026. Nominations are now open for two dentists and one dental hygienist to fill these positions. Nominations will be accepted now through March 31. Nominees must be Kentucky residents who are actively practicing licensees in good standing with the board. See KRS 313.020 for more information.

Up to three candidates for each position will be forwarded to Gov. Beshear for consideration. If more than three qualified nominations exist for a board seat, an online election will be held in April. The governor will then select an appointee from the top three vote recipients. New board members will begin a four-year term on July 01, 2026.

For questions about serving on the Board of Dentistry or to make a nomination, contact Executive Director Jeff Allen at 502-429-7280 or jeffrey.allen@ky.gov
