In life, oral health practitioners face a whole range of everyday issues and questions. The stress of managing ​work, personal, and family needs can sometimes feel overwhelming. Because taking care of your mental health should be simple, supportive, and always within reach, the Kentucky ​Board of Dentistry has partnered with AllOne Health to launch a Well-Being Assistance Program to provide mental health and stress reduction services to the dental community in the Commonwealth, all at no cost to the individual. These services are available to Kentucky-licensed dentists, dental hygienists, and dental students, as well as their household members.

The AllOne Health suite of benefits can assist with problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, child and eldercare needs, marital concerns, or substance abuse. They also assist with financial, legal, or identity theft issues. All resources are provided by credentialed professionals and are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, 

AllOne Health provides services that are both confidential and at no cost to you. The Board of Dentistry will never have access to your identifying information.​ ​If treatment or services need to extend beyond the available free resources, AllOne Health will make every effort to transition you to a provider that participates in your network. Many services can now be offered through telehealth, which provides additional convenience and flexibility to busy schedules. There are no limitations to telephonic or online resources provided by AllOne Health or its comprehensive work/life website. 

Covered services include:

• Mental Health Counseling​ (4 sessions per unique issue): Manage stress, anxiety, and depression, resolve conflict, improve relationships, and address any personal issues. Choose from in-person sessions, video counseling, or telephonic counseling, all from Master's-level clinicians. 
  

• ​In-the-Moment Support: Speak with a clinician by phone for immediate, 24/7 access to emotional and psychological counseling.
  

• Work-Life Resources: Obtain information and referrals on seeking childcare, adoption, special needs support, elder care, housing, transportation, education, and pet care. 
  

• Legal Referrals: Receive referrals for personal legal matters, including estate planning, real estate, bankruptcy, divorce, custody, and identity theft. Also access helpful DIY legal forms.
  

• Financial Consultation (4 sessions per year)​: Build financial wellness related to budgeting, buying a home, paying off debt, resolving general tax questions, preventing identity theft, and saving for retirement or tuition.
  

• Life Coaching (4 sessions per year): Work with a professional coach on your career goals, relationships, time management, communication skills, and more.
  

• Medical Advocacy: Consult with a certified medical social worker for expert guidance in navigating healthcare systems, receiving doctor referrals, and planning for care.​
  

• Personal Assistant Services: ​Get help with travel arrangements, dining reservations, home services, and other daily tasks.​
